兄のDavid Enhcoは１９８６年９月１２日生まれ、弟のThomas Enhcoは１９８８年９月２９日生まれ。フランスで先祖代々音楽家／俳優の家系で有名なCasadesusファミリーの五代目。二人とも幼い頃から、クラシック音楽とジャズの両方を同時に学び育ち、フランス国内の音楽フェスティバル出演をきっかけにプロ活動に入り、現在はパリを拠点に北京、ニューヨーク、東京、ロンドン、ダマスカス、テルアビブなどで演奏会を開き、ジャック・ディジョネットや日野皓正とも共演経験を持つ。その高度なクラシック的テクニックとジャズ的インプロビゼーションの融合は、まるでECMサウンドのような透明感とエネルギーに溢れ、まさに世界から大きな注目を集めつつある存在となりつつある。今回の東京でのワン＆オンリーのライブ・パフォーマンスはジャズ／クラシック・ファンにとって必聴だ。
Duo Concert with Thomas Enhco (piano) and David Enhco (trumpet)David Enhco was born on September 12, 1986. Thomas Enhco was born on September 29, 1988. One chose the trumpet, the other the piano. They come from a large family of musicians and actors (the Casadesus family, of which they are part of the fifth generation).From a very young age, they studied classical and jazz at the same time and gave their first concerts together in local festivals. Since then they have traveled the world with their own groups, as a duo or alongside other artists; from Paris to Beijing, from New York to Tokyo, from London to Ouagadougou via Damascus and Tel Aviv… They each have several albums to their credit and are at the head of many original projects unanimously praised by critics.They regularly play as a duo creating unique moments where the complicity between two brothers creats wonders! On stage, energy and improvisation is everything. Thomas Enhco and David Enhco create music without borders, dense in emotions, with grace, audacity and virtuosity..
