Schroeder-Headz
数多くの著名ミュージシャンのサポート・キーボーディストとして活躍する、渡辺シュンスケによるポスト・ジャズ・プロジェクト。ピアノ、ベース、ドラムスによるアコースティック・トリオ・サウンドとプログラミングを融合させ、美しいメロディと有機的なグルーヴが印象的なピアノ・トリオの未来形とも言えるサウンドを紡ぎ出す。その名前の由来はアメリカのアニメ”PEANUTS”(日本名：スヌーピー)に登場するトイ・ピアノを弾くシュローダー君に依り、クラシック、ジャズ、ダンス・ミュージック、エレクトロなどに影響を受けたリリカルな男子の脳内イメージを表現している。また、同アニメの音楽を担当したビンス・ガラルディ・トリオへのリスペクトの意味も込められている。
2010年デビューアルバム『NEWDAYS』を発表。“遊べる本屋“VILLAGE VANGUARDを中心にロングラン・ヒットを記録する。
2011年のカヴァー・ミニアルバム『ピアノ・ア・ラ・カルト・フィーチャリング・シュローダーヘッズ』を発表。そのアートワークでは本家シュローダー君と夢のコラボレーションを実現。
また同アルバムに収録されたDE DE MOUSE の大ヒット曲 「baby‘s star jam」のカヴァーでは、DE DE MOUSEの特徴的なオリジナル・ヴォーカル・トラックを使用しエレクトロと生演奏が見事に融合したトラックとして高い評価を得た。2012年には「静岡〜頂〜2012」、「Sunset Live 2012 」、「MINAMI WHEEL」、「TIMM (Tokyo International Music Market)」などのイベントにも参加。
2013年には「GREENROOM FESTIVAL13」、「福岡・中洲ジャズ2013」のイベントに参加する一方、シンガーの土岐麻子とともに、「土岐麻子 meets Schroeder−Headz」として「SAPPORO CITY JAZZ Ezo Groove 2013」、「12th 境港妖怪ジャズフェスティバル2013」、「定禅寺ストリートジャズフェスティバル in 仙台」、「高崎音楽祭2013 〜TMF JAZZ 4DAYS〜」、「Jazz JAPAN presents 女子ジャズ LIVE AID 2013等全国各地のジャズフェスティバルやイベントにも勢力的に出演する。2013年12月にはREMIXプロジェクト・ミニアルバム『Sleepin’ Bird』を発表し、マルチトラックの配信リリースも話題となる。
