世界各地でDJ活動を行い、NTS Radioでは約8年間月例番組のホストを務め、音楽とダンスへの愛、そして常に進化する自分の感性の中で新しいサウンドを探求したいという情熱から、この活動を開始。

ジャンルや時代、リズムやテンポを問わず、世界中のあらゆる音楽を愛し、音楽を通して空間をつくり、物語を紡ぎ、自分の内面を表現し、踊り、感謝や敬意を示し、経験や歴史、アイデアを共有することで、共に楽しみ、学び、飛び立ち、沈み、瞑想し、旅し、感じ、考える──そんな意味のある時間をみなさんとつくっていけたらと思っています。

高揚感のある音楽、落ち着いた音楽、暗い音、明るい音、知的なものやおバカなもの、熱い音や冷たい音、シンプルなものから複雑なものまで、夢のような音楽も悪夢のような音楽も、すべてが好き。

私は踊ることが大好きですが、音楽は同時に教師であり、癒しでもあります。音楽を人々や自然と分かち合う旅そのものが、音楽家や音楽と同じくらい多くを教えてくれる存在であり、喜びであり、祝福だと感じています。

Biography 京都府綾部市出身、2012年から都内を中心に活動中の Alec(gt/vo) Ric(key/vo) Chew(gt) Syu(ba) Bob(dr/vo) からなる5人組。 音楽スタイルはルーツ志向でありながらロック、サイケデリック、エキゾチカ、ニューエ イジ、ダンスミュージック、インプロヴィゼーションなどを独自の色彩で万華鏡のように 融合したもので、ライブパフォーマンスでは orihasamado(sax/perc) を迎えた6人編成 で主に活動している。
ライティングはOHPを使用したリキッドライトを得意とするShining Rain Projectが手 掛ける事も多く、その他自身らも関わるアートチーム「Paint Groove」live at berry のイベントでの Jesus Weekend と共に演奏するExperimental Live Set、Juni(Bansuri/Sequencer) を含めた7人編成でのHealing Resolution Setなど、ライブハウスやフェス、レイヴ等の 会場や時間帯によってバンドの音楽性を軸に幅広いセットで活動中。
その場の空気や流れ に合わせて演奏する即興音楽の精神を取り入れたパフォーマンスを展開し、音楽的な実験 と探究を続けている。

A 5-piece band from Ayabe, Kyoto, Japan, active mainly in Tokyo since 2012—Alec (guitar/vocals), Ric (keyboard/vocals), Chew (guitar), Syu (bass), and Bob (drums/vocals). The musical styles include rock, psychedelic, exotica, new age, dance music, and improvisation, fused together in a kaleidoscope of unique colors. For live performances, they are mainly a 6-piece ensemble with orihasamado (sax/percuss). The band’s lighting is often done by Shining Rain Project, which specializes in Liquid Light using OHPs. They also perform a wide range of sets at live houses, music festivals, raves, etc., depending on the venue and time of day, including an Experimental Live Set with Jesus Weekend at events organized by Paint Groove,(Live at Berry) an art team in which they are involved, and a Healing Resolution Set with Juni (Bansuri/ Sequencer). In the spirit of improvised music, they play according to the mood and flow of the moment, continues to experiment and explore musically.

東京出身。15歳からバンドとＤＪの活動を並行して始め、スケートボードを通して知り合ったメンバーで結成されたバンドEvilPowersMeの音源は、結成後すぐにアメリカのイラストレイターPusheadのレーベル等からリリースされる。DJとしてもその革新的でオリジナルなスタイルが一世を風靡し、瞬く間に国内外の巨大なフェスからアンダーグランドなパーティまで活動が展開される。 ソロの楽曲制作としても米Grand RoyalからのBuffalo Daughterのリミックスを皮切りに、Boredoms等のリミックス等メジャー、インディー問わず様々なレーベルからリリースされる。2003年にキューバで現地ミュージシャンとレコーディングツアーを敢行したのを皮切りに、その後世界各地で録音を重ね、新たなWorld Musicの指針として、立ち上げたレーベルCROSSPOINTを始動。
2015年から始まった怒濤の９ヶ月連続ヴァイナルリリースは大きな話題になり、その影響でベルリン／イスラエルのレーベルMalka Tutiなどからワールドワイドにリリースされ、DJ TASAKAとのHIGHTIME Inc.、Nitro Microphone UndergroundのMACKA-CHINとPART2STYLEのMaLとのユニットZEN RYDAZ、Minilogue/Son KiteのMarcus HenrikssonとKuniyukiとのユニットMYSTICSなど、そのオリジナルなヴィジョンは、あらゆるジャンルをまたぎ、拡散し続けている。また音楽制作のみならず、映像作品、絵本や画集 のプロデュース、野外フェスOoneness Camp”縄文と再生”を企画するなど活動は多岐に渡る。http://www.nxs.jphttps://linktr.ee/JAKAM

Born in Tokyo, he started playing in bands and DJing at the same time when he was 15. As a DJ, his innovative and original style and his activities have quickly expanded from huge festivals to underground parties both in Japan and abroad. In 2003, he went on a recording tour with local musicians in Cuba, and since then he has been recording all over the world, and started his own label, Crosspoint, as a new guideline for New World Music.
In music production, he has also produced video works, picture books and art books, and organized the outdoor festival “Jomon and Rebirth” in 2012.
9 consecutive months of vinyl releases in 2015 became a big topic, and his fourth album was released at the end of that year, which led to the worldwide release of his new album on the Berlin/Israeli label Malka Tuti.
HIGHTIME Inc. with DJ TASAKA in 2017, and ZEN RYDAZ, a unit with MACKA-CHIN of Nitro Microphone Underground and MaL of PART2STYLE, in 2018.
In the same year, his music under the name of J.A.K.A.M. was released in analog form on the French label HardFist, which led to a live performance at the huge 30,000-person Nuits Sonores Festival in Lyon, followed by a DJ tour of Europe and Israel.
In 2019, the production of MYSTICS, a unit with Marcus Henriksson and Kuniyuki of Minilogue/Son Kite, which has a worldwide following, will begin, and the long-awaited album will be released in 2021.His original vision is spreading across all genres and around the world.
